Settings: email, phone, notifications and data

Everything about your account lives in Settings, with sections on the left.

What's in each section

• Account: your display name, your email, your phone and the password change.
• Preferences: your country (it defines the idioms it writes with) and your main platform.
• Notifications: the hook of the day, the weekly summary and product news, each with its own switch.
• Plan & billing: your current plan, with the door to charges and cancellation.
• Privacy & data: download everything that's yours or delete the account.

Changing your email

When you request the change, we send a link to the new address. The email only changes when you confirm from there — so nobody can lock you out of your own account.

Emails that can't be turned off

Account emails —a payment, a security notice, the plan expiring— always arrive. The ones you can turn off are content emails: hook of the day, weekly summary and news.
