How to write captions people read to the end
The caption isn't filler: it's what turns a view into a follower or a sale. Here's a simple structure so the text works in your favor.

Lots of people shoot a good video and then put whatever comes to mind as the caption. It's a wasted opportunity: the text is where you go deeper, build connection and ask for the action.
The first line is a second hook
In the feed only the first line shows before “more”. Treat it like you treat the first 3 seconds of the video: make it spark curiosity, promise something, be impossible to ignore.
A structure that almost never fails
- Hook: one sentence that stops people and makes them want to keep reading.
- Body: tell the idea, the case or the step by step. Short sentences.
- Close: a conclusion or a reflection that leaves something behind.
- CTA: ask for ONE concrete action (comment, save, follow me).
Write like you talk
Stiff captions don't hook. Read your text out loud: if it doesn't sound like something you'd actually say, rewrite it. Closeness sells more than grammatical perfection.
A single call to action
If you ask for five things (follow me, comment, share, save, buy), people do none. Pick the most important one for THAT post and ask for it clearly. One action per piece.
Generate the caption together with the video
In Gancho the caption isn't a separate step: when you generate a piece, you get the hook, the script and the caption text in the same voice. You adjust it to your tone and done.
